Maui Solar Energy Software Corporation's software readiness for the Year 2000

As the result of the great deal of press regarding the Year 2000 issue, Maui Solar Energy Software Corporation (MSESC) has received numerous requests regarding the stability of operation of our software into the new millennium. Please be assured that MSESC is well aware of the issues surrounding Year 2000 compliance and the problems that non-compliance may create.

We have reviewed this issue with respect to our products and are pleased to report that we are Year 2000 compliant. Our products do not rely on the knowledge of the date in order to operate. The software will operate properly on, and after, January 1, 2000. It is important to note, however, that the ability of any particular software product to continue to operate after the millennium may depend on other third party hardware, software and embedded systems. If the underlying operating system and hardware is not Year 2000 compliant, any product that runs under it may not be able to achieve full compliance.

MSESC has also tested the internal order processing and accounting systems used for Year 2000 readiness to ensure that customer accounts are reliably and accurately billed and credited, and that orders are shipped correctly and efficiently. Our internal systems will also work reliably on, and after, January 1, 2000.
