Historical Climate Data Archive:
A CD is available containing the full 30-year archived datasets (1961-1990) of each of the 237 U.S. locations contained in the National Solar Radiation Database. This is the original data that was used to construct Typical Meteorological Year 2 (TMY2) files. By selecting good, average, and below average years for solar energy at selected sites, designers can better estimate the annual distribution of system performance. The CD contains 1.7 Gigabytes of compressed climate data. Users have the option of installing data by state. The files are fully tested and compatible with PV-DesignPro. Retail price is $190 + $10 shipping.
